Richard started off with the goal of breaking 7 minutes on his 2k with the side goal of losing weight and improving overall fitness. Over the past couple of years we have not only smashed through the 7 minute barrier(PB now 6:24) dropping over a minute from his initial time; Richard has won the British Indoor championships and lost more than 15 kilos. Richard is now in a place where he is confident in his fitness and wants to push even further.

Roni’s goals revolve around using her rowing as a way to help her university application in the USA. She joined before Summer break started of her junior year and worked very hard to drop over 10 seconds from seconds from her 2k. Throughout the process she received advice and encouragement from Cam both regarding her college application process and training. Resulting in attending the University of Florida for a pre med undergad!

Starting on the Yamsquad training program as a complete novice. We initially worked together the create a sustainable training regime. As Elizabeth caught the rowing bug her goals grew over time. Her achievements so far include, winning the first and second ever Versa Challenge at the World Rowing Indoor Championships, winning Crash Bs and dropping over 20 seconds on her 2k, 5k and more on her longer distance pieces. Soon she will be looking to row across the Atlantic Ocean!

I've been following Cam for many years through YouTube, but I never thought I was good enough to join the Yamsquad—too old, not talented enough, or so I thought. However, after a great result at the World Rowing Indoor Championships in 2023, I decided to take my indoor rowing to the next level and reached out to Cam. It’s been 18 months now, and I have no regrets. I’ve learned so much about heart rate zones, polarized training, and the importance of consistency. My results speak for themselves—I’ve PB’d in almost every distance, including the 1k, 2k, 5k, and 30-minute rate 20. Before Cam I was training extremely hard but had declining results and was always fighting exhaustion. I followed him on YouTube for several months before hiring him as my coach, and right away he opened my eyes to a completely new way of training smart that has kept me injury-free and improving at the same time. With his hundreds of YouTube training videos and always being available to answer questions through email or social media, he is an endless source of knowledge and coaching advice. Cam has built a clear training plan that lines up perfectly with my rowing goals. Now I can concentrate on training hard, knowing I'm on the right plan.

I used Cameron's program over the summer while my school program was on hiatus. It kept me in great form so that when I got back to the program I hadn't lost momentum at all! In fact, it helped me get one of the fastest 5ks on my team and I was moved into the 1V. I'm not sure any of that would have happened without using his program.
